Botulinum toxin is a protein produced by the bacteria Clostridium botulinum. It works by temporarily blocking the release of the neurotransmitter that signals muscles to contract. When injected in small, controlled doses into targeted muscles, it helps to soften fine lines and create smoother-looking skin.

I use XEOMIN® — a highly purified form of Botulinum toxin that is free from unnecessary proteins. This reduces the risk of developing resistance over time.

Treatment Areas:

Forehead
This treatment targets the forehead muscle (frontalis) — the muscle responsible for lifting the eyebrows and causing horizontal lines across the forehead. For best results, the forehead and frown areas are usually treated together to avoid heaviness in the brow.

Frown
This treatment targets the muscle group responsible for frowning. These muscles pull the brows down and inward, creating two vertical lines between the brows (often called the “11’s”).

Crow’s Feet
When we smile or squint, the circular muscle around the eye socket (orbicularis oculi) contracts, causing lines to appear at the corners of the eyes. Relaxing this muscle along the outer rim of the eye can soften the appearance of these lines.

Dermal filler is used to instantly restore volume. Results are immediate and can last between 6-18 months, depending on the type of filler used.

Lips
Filler can be used in the lips to add volume, enhance shape and definition, even out asymmetries and create a more desirable balance between upper and lower lip volumes.

Fine Lines (Peri-Oral & Marionette Lines)
A fine, soft filler can be used to help soften and smooth out fine lines above the lips (peri-oral lines) and below the mouth (marionette lines).

Pricing can vary depending on type of filler used. I will assess at your consult which filler and how much volume will be most suitable for your anatomy and desired aesthetic outcome.

Please note, I may decline to treat if I feel dermal filler is unsuitable or unsafe for you. If you have existing filler that has migrated, this will need to be dissolved prior to treating the area.

Microneedling uses fine needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin, to stimulate production of collagen. During treatment, serums are applied (targeted toward individual skin concerns). These are absorbed deeply into the skin through the micro-channels created by the needle device.

Microneedling is suitable for a wide range of people and skin types. It’s particularly good for:

• Uneven skin texture (roughness, enlarged pores, dullness)
• Fine lines and early signs of ageing
• Mild to moderate acne scarring
• Overall skin rejuvenation for a healthier, smoother, brighter complexion

Microneedling has a cumulative effect and takes multiple sessions to see the benefits (generally a minimum series of three treatments spaced 6 weeks apart) but some skin conditions may require a different treatment schedule (for example, treatment for acne scaring may initially need up to six sessions spaced 3 weeks apart). We will discuss at your consultation what will be right for you and your skin.

BIO-MESO PDRN is a bio-needling treatment that uses natural microscopic spicules (needle like fragments) to create invisible microchannels in the skin to allow for deep penetration of PDRN (a powerful regenerative compound derived from salmon DNA), along with ceramides, peptides & growth factors.
